Teddy’s Guide to Beastia Reina (Roar)

Introduction
Beastia Reina (BR) is a strong meta class in many patches. She’s known for being easy to play, easy to adapt, with heavy burst, huge AoE, and plenty of survivability.
She has two distinct builds.
- Roar, which centers on her brown skills through Feral Power: Roar, and
- Onslaught, which focuses on her green skills through Wild Power: Onslaught.
In the most current patch, many of her former iframes were converted to Super Armor, but she still roams the leaderboards as one of the most consistent DPS in raids, nests, and Lucky Zone.
Key Pillars
-
Jelly engine → Cash-out
- Build Colorful Points (CP). At 5 CP you can cast Jelly Party (big AoE).
- Golden Jellies grant buffs and, at 3 stacks, upgrade Ramble & Catch into Enhanced Ramble & Catch — your highest burst.
-
Ivory = animation cancel
- For ~30s after Transform, Ivory gets massive cooldown reduction and can be used during other actions — your core animation-cancel tool to keep damage flowing.
-
Plenty of safety
- Even after the iframe nerfs, BR still has many iframes/air time tools and high sustain (self-healing).
-
No rigid rotation
- Roar plays priority/freestyle — keep buffs/debuffs rolling, stack CP, drop Jelly Party, and cash out Enhanced Ramble & Catch
Class Overview

Skill Build

Skill Explanations
Beastia Reina skills separate into two groups.
- Brown skills come from Feral Power: Roar and are your main damage and CP builders.
- Green skills come from Wild Power: Onslaught and are primarily used to reset Binding Thread and keep flow.
Beastia Tree
-
Grumpy (Green)
- Use to reset Binding Thread; hold LMB for more hits.
-
Tail Whip (Green)
- Main Fracture skill; keeps you airborne, applies Fracture, combos with Honey Harvest.
-
Starry Claw Fidget (Green, 2 stacks)
- Hold LMB to reset Binding Thread.
-
Twinkle Kick (Brown)
- 3 hits, builds Colorful Points; low damage filler.
-
Ivory
- Main damage; enhanced Ivory during transform window cancels animations; high damage.
-
Starlight Toss (Brown)
- 2 hits, builds Colorful Points; decent damage.

-
Jelly Party

-
Reina’s Roar Gift (B)
- After Jelly Party, spawn 1 Golden Jelly. When it lands: heal 5% HP and gain +5% damage (60s).
- At 3 Golden Jellies, Ramble & Catch → Enhanced (consumes 3 Jellies) for massive burst.
-
Spirit Convergence (B)
- Twinkle Kick and Starlight Toss each grant +1 CP (5 CP = 1 Jelly Party cast).
-
Chaotic Hunting (B)
- Post-transform, Ivory gets ~80% CD reduction for 30s and can be used during any action (core animation cancel window).
-
Light Sage (B)
- Ramble & Catch +35% ATK and becomes AoE.
-
Honey Harvest (B)
- Fracture debuff with an iframe — often used after Tail Whip.
-
Class Mastery 1

Awakened Tree
-
Claw Assault Spin
- Signature air-dash chain and the source of BR’s “infinite iframe/air time” feel.
- Up to 2 dashes; can be used after Fly-By (tumble + space), Wild Move (mid-air forward tumble), or any Main Skills (except Supreme Blitz & Honey Pot).
-
Sweet Taste
- Fast, big self-heal—makes BR a reliable solo carry.
I-Frames (invulnerability tools)
-
Tumble/Evade (Shift)
-
Claw Assault Spin (Space → Space after main skills, or after Wild Move / Fly-By)
-
Tail Whip
-
Honey Harvest
-
Beastia Reina (Transform)
-
Jelly Party
-
Supreme Blitz
-
Binding Thread
Skill Priority (Roar)
-
Before pull
- Wait ~100s at entrance to bank 10 CP (passive recharge).
-
Priority skills
- Fracture (Tail Whip/Honey Harvest) → Jelly Party (5 CP) → Beastia Reina (Transform) → Enhanced Ramble & Catch (at 3 Golden Jellies) → Ivory → Ramble & Catch → Starlight Toss → Supreme Blitz → Binding Thread → Twinkle Kick → Green skills to reset Binding Thread → repeat.
-
Roar rule-of-thumb
-
Brown skills (Twinkle Kick, Starlight Toss) = CP builders → higher priority on Roar .
-
Green skills = reset engine (cooldowns, Binding Thread) and maintain flow.
-
Keep debuffs/buffs up, spam Browns, then weave Greens to reset and keep uptime.
-
Rotation (Combos & Examples)
Opener (With 10 CP)
Fracture → Jelly Party → Ivory → Beastia Reina → Ramble & Catch → Ivory → Starlight Toss → Jelly Party → Tail Whip → Honey Harvest → Supreme Blitz → Ivory → Binding Thread → Space → RMB → Jelly Party → Enhanced Ramble & Catch → Brown skills → Green skills (reset Binding Thread) → repeat.
Combo 1 – Opener
Fracture → Jelly Party → Ivory → Beastia Reina → Ramble & Catch → Ivory → Starlight Toss → Jelly Party
Tail Whip → Honey Harvest → Supreme Blitz → Ivory → Binding Thread → Space → RMB → Jelly Party → Enhanced Ramble & Catch
(...continue) → Enhanced Ramble & Catch → Ivory → Ramble & Catch → Jelly Party → Brown skills → Green skills (reset Binding Thread) → repeat.
Combo 2 – Long iframe / Air Time String
Tumble → Space → Shift → Space → Space → Tail Whip → Space → Space → Honey Harvest → Space → Space → Tail Whip → Space → Space → Binding Thread → …
Use as needed for dangerous mechanics.
Combo 3 – Animation canceling
Claw Assault Spin → Talon Plunge to quick-land and skip Brown-skill animations.
Crest and Jades
- Equipment
- Berserker (INT)
BR scales well with Critical Damage, so Berserker is her best set. And despite looking like a physical hitter, her main stat is INT.
Unyielding massively increases HP and can make Honey Pot heals enormous, but your damage will be very low.
This is not her optimized set, and usually used only for fun.

Crest Choices
- Beastia Reina (CD)
- You choose between 20% cooldown reduction and 20% duration. The skill is 90 seconds cooldown and 50 seconds duration.
- With 20% cooldown reduction you get 72 seconds cooldown and 50 seconds duration.
- With 20% duration you get 90 seconds cooldown and 60 seconds duration.
- Downtime per cycle becomes 22 seconds versus 30 seconds
So, cooldown reduction gives more total uptime and more activations!
- Jelly Party (DMG)
- Critical Rate +30% versus Damage +20%. In IDN your Crit Rate is usually soft-capped when gear is maximized, so choose +20% damage.
- Ramble & Catch (DMG)
- +20% cooldown versus +20% damage. Roar gameplay revolves aroundstacking buffs and then land big bursts, so the damage option is usually stronger on such a high-impact skill.
- Ivory (DMG)
- This is a no brainer. +20% damage versus a negative hit option. Choose +20% damage.
- Jelly Party (Skill Up)
- This is a high-damage large-AoE skill. Increasing skill level is a direct damage gain.
Optional Survivability Crest
Replace Ivory crest with Honey Butter Shower −20% cooldown if you need more safety.
Skill Crest
- Barnac Crest, Breaking Point
- Increases damage by 5%. This is the standard DPS choice.
Optional Survivability Skill Crest
- Iona Crest, Heal:
- Restores about 20% HP. Use if you are learning fights or playing Lucky Zone aggressively.
Quick Guide (TL;DR)
-
Bank CP
- Enter with 10 CP if possible.
-
Opener
- Fracture → Jelly Party → Transform → (stack 3 Golden Jellies) → Enhanced R&C → Ivory → R&C.
-
Roar logic
- Brown skills = CP builders (priority) → Jelly Party on 5 CP → collect Golden Jellies → Enhanced R&C on 3 stacks.
-
Maintain flow
- Weave Green skills to reset things (esp. Binding Thread).
-
Cancel often
- Use Ivory (transform window) or Claw Assault Spin → Talon Plunge to skip long animations and reposition.
-
Stay safe
- Abuse air time + iframes + self-heals; you’re durable when played actively.
Example Videos
Sunset Training Ground Example
I recommend doing Sunset Training Ground on any class to optimize rotation and animation canceling.
With BR’s many iframes and dodges, this content is very safe since the STG boss is predictable.
The main purpose of this video is to show how to tighten your rotation and cancels.
It’s better to use positioning, rotation, and animation canceling.
Lucky Zone
BR is not only strong in Nests and Raids, she’s also a beast in Lucky Zone.
Her large AoE from Jelly Party and Ramble & Catch, combined with how easily they charge, makes her one of the fastest LZ clearers.
Treasure Nest All Stage Example
This Nest example shows how BR performs well even without deep boss knowledge. Thanks to her airborne iframes, she can dodge most mechs easily.
And why over-dodging lowers damage.
