Rian's Guide to Lustre

Introduction

Hey there! I’m Rian (RianJan). If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I live and breathe Machina. I’ve been playing DN since the level 40 cap, and my love for this "timeless" game hasn’t faded one bit.

I’m currently on a mission to write a guide for every Machina path to help others discover their true potential.

Next up is the Luster — a class that perfectly balances high-tier support utility with a fast, engaging combat rhythm.

In this guide, we’ll be diving deep into how the Luster functions as a premier support, while also exploring the impressive DPS potential she brings to the table. Let’s dive in!

Lustre Overview

Luster is a Machina advancement class from Launcher. It is a mid-to-close-range support class that specializes in high-speed repositioning, party-wide buffs, and consistent damage.

Luster emphasizes a fluid, "dance-like" playstyle, utilizing a unique Bubble system to provide crucial defensive utility and significant DPS-boosting buffs to the party.

Key traits of Luster:

  • Top-Tier Support Utility

    • Provides essential party buffs, including elemental attack enhancements, damage boosts, and defense increases, making them a staple in raid compositions.
  • Superior Survivability

    • Boasts a generous amount of i-frame (invincibility frame) skills and specialized dashes, allowing them to effortlessly weave through lethal boss mechanics while maintaining their offensive.
  • Fast-Paced Action

    • Relies on rapid skill execution and "Action Speed" buffs to overwhelm enemies with a constant flurry of strikes.
  • Resource Management

    • Features a unique Bubble system where active combat fuels their supportive capabilities, rewarding players who stay aggressive and engaged in the fight.

What To Look Forward On This Class

Luster offers one of the most comprehensive support kits in the game, but don't let the "support" tag fool you—her personal damage and utility are incredibly potent when played at their limit.

The catch is that you must master the art of "Combat Support." You aren’t just standing in the backline; you are expected to maintain an aggressive offensive to keep your Bubbles flowing and your party buffs at maximum uptime.

If you’re a player who enjoys a high-APM (Actions Per Minute) rhythm and wants to be the backbone of a raid team without sacrificing flashy, high-speed combat, then this class is for you.

I’d like to emphasize that Luster requires excellent battlefield awareness. You aren't just managing your own cooldowns; you’re managing the survival and damage potential of your entire party. It’s a freestyle experience where repositioning and timing your i-frames are just as important as your buff rotation.

Pros and Cons

Lustre Pros

  • Rapid-Fire Rotations:
    • Features incredibly short skill cooldowns, allowing for a relentless flow of attacks.
  • High Burst & Sustained DPS:
    • Unlike traditional supports, Luster packs a serious punch with explosive burst potential.
  • Elite Mobility:
    • Exceptional movement skills and dashes allow you to stick to bosses like glue, regardless of how much they move.
  • Superior Survivability:
    • Loaded with numerous i-frames, giving you the tools to dance through lethal mechanics that would kill other classes.
  • Dynamic Combo Flow:
    • Offers excellent skill-chaining potential, making the gameplay feel fluid and rewarding to master.
  • Ultimate Utility:
    • Provides some of the best party-wide buffs in the game without sacrificing personal damage.

Lustre Cons

  • Extremely High APM:
    • The fast-paced nature requires constant clicking and key-pressing, which can be physically exhausting during long raid sessions.
  • Precision Positioning:
    • Several core skills have short range; if your spacing is off, your impact drops significantly.
  • Glass Cannon Nature:
    • Despite the i-frames, the class is naturally "squishy." A missed timing or a failed dodge is often punished heavily.
  • Strict Timing:
    • Your damage output is highly dependent on rhythm. If your combo is interrupted or you miss a window, your DPS takes a noticeable hit.
  • Resource Heavy:
    • Requires constant Bubble management; failing to maintain your stacks can leave your party without essential buffs.

Skill Tree

You can basically max all skills if you want since skill points are more than enough.

Key Pillars

  • Awakened Flood Trick
    • This is your bread and butter. It is the primary skill responsible for providing essential party-wide support and maintaining your utility uptime.
  • Eternal Light Quartz
    • The backbone of your team's survivability. This pillar provides consistent party-wide sustain, keeping your allies in the fight.
  • Eternal Light Soul or Eternal Light Might
    • Your tactical choice. These skills define your specific buffing path (which I’ll go into detail on in the "Skills" section).
  • Bubble Mechanics
    • The engine that runs the class. Mastering how to generate and spend your Bubbles is what separates a novice from a master Luster.

Skills Explanation

Machina Tree

  • Boost

    • Your essential class buff. It provides an 8% Cooldown Reduction and an 8% Final Damage increase.
  • Fly By

    • Your primary mobility tool. It’s perfect for repositioning quickly or escaping boss mechanics.

Pro Tip: After the initial dash, you can press LMB to reset the skill. While you can hold LMB to "Nitro Charge" and fly again.

  • Pivot Gun shot

    • This is your class master III skill and will help you gain bubbles.

The rest of the skills are self explanatory and the active skills in this tree are not really significant on Luster’s gameplay.

💡
You might be wondering why there aren't much in the list, it's because in this tree, we only focus on the essentials.

Most active skills here aren't significant for Luster’s endgame gameplay.

Launcher Tree

Green skill name colors are the highly significant ones. The orange ones are the skills I rarely use or not use at all.

  • Laser Piercer (Main Skill)

    • A reliable mid-range skill, but for maximum impact, I highly recommend casting this point-blank to the boss and utilizing the LMB follow-up. This is a solid damage dealer and a vital source of Bubbles.
  • Lightning Elevation (Main Skill)

    • Another pillar of your rotation. It generates Bubbles and applies an All-Elemental Resistance Debuff to the enemy—essential for maximizing your team's elemental damage!
  • Flood Trick (Main Skill)

    • Your primary support tool. This skill is the engine for your party buffs and also generates Bubbles. I’ll be dedicating a specific section later on how to master its timing and positioning.
  • Carnival Rush (Main Skill)

    • Your bread-and-butter damage. To get the most out of this, you must ensure every single punch connects. Precision is key here.
  • Awakened Hyper Galaxy (Ultimate)

    • Your massive burst window. The Awakened version is incredible; it summons 30 bolts of lightning over 5 seconds, with each bolt dealing 50% of the skill's base attack. It’s a core part of your burst phase.
  • Shoulder Crash

    • Accuracy matters! Hitting an enemy precisely with this triggers the Instant version of Carnival Rush, which is a mandatory part of your DPS rotation.
  • Blaster Mastery (Passive Skill)

    • A massive stat stick. It increases your Physical/Magic Attack by 25% and Critical Damage by 10%.

Utility & Survival

  • Mirage

    • A purely debuff skill that provides a 10% Physical and Magical Defense Reduction on enemies. Keep this debuff up!
  • Drift Step

    • An excellent repositioning tool. You can chain this directly into Shoulder Crash by pressing RMB, allowing for a seamless transition from movement to offense.
  • Set Position

    • Your "get out of jail free" card. If you get flinched, press LMB to recover instantly and heal for 6% of your Max HP.
  • Illusive Fist

    • I mainly save this for evading stomps and tricky mechanics thanks to its air-time and frames.

Situational / "Just for Fun"

  • Trigger and T-operate
    • This has nothing to do with any of Luster’s gameplay. I like to use teleportation for fun only.

Lustre Tree

The Support Pillars (Utility & Buffs)

  • Eternal Light Quartz

    • (Consumes 5 Bubbles) A vital sustain tool. It provides a 10% All-Elemental Attack boost and a Life Steal effect capped at 10% of Max HP.
  • Eternal Light Soul

    • (Consumes 5 Bubbles) Enhances the party's raw power, increasing Physical and Magic Attack by 10% and granting a Protective Shield worth 10% of Max HP.

Pro Tip: These "Eternal Light" buffs are stackable with other class buffs, making Luster one of the best damage-boosting partners in the game.

  • Refresh

    • Your emergency recovery tool. It heals all allies for 20% of their Maximum HP.
  • Resuscitate

    • A powerful cleanse that instantly cures 5 debuffs from your teammates. Use this wisely during raid mechanics that apply crippling status effects.

Advanced Combat & EX Skills

  • Flood Trick EX

    • This skill has two distinct forms depending on your input:
      • Pure DPS Form: Simply cast the skill without additional input.
      • Support-DPS Form (RMB): This is the version you will use most often. Pressing RMB transforms it into the version that maintains your support uptime while still contributing to damage.
  • Cast Cassia EX (Main Skill)

    • A significant power boost that also grants Invincibility (i-frame) during the casting animation, allowing you to bypass damage while maintaining your offensive.

The Class Masteries (The Engine)

  • Class Mastery I

    • Using Mirage enables the Instant version of Lightning Elevation EX, allowing for faster debuff application and bubble generation.
  • Class Mastery II

    • Using Shoulder Crash enables the Instant version of Carnival Rush. You can trigger this by either pressing the skill key or simply pressing RMB after the crash.
  • Class Mastery III

    • Enhances Pivot Gunshot. By pressing LMB after the initial hit, you fire 5 Light Energy projectiles, which act as a massive generator for your Bubbles.

Awakened Luster Tree

  • Glowing Nova

    • This is your versatile i-frame skill. By pressing RMB after any main skill, you can weave through enemy attacks while simultaneously generating Bubbles upon a successful hit. Use this to maintain your offensive momentum without taking damage.
  • Countdown

    • Effect: Instantly grants 50 Bubbles upon casting. While active, every main skill used triggers additional light attacks, and your Elemental Attack is increased by 20%.
  • Might Strike Mechanic:

    • During the skill's duration, Might Strike is activated, dealing +0.6% additional damage for every 1% of HP the enemy has remaining above 70%. Note that this bonus damage stops once the enemy's HP falls to 70% or lower.
‼️
Critical Note for Might Strike Mechanic :

You must fully complete the casting animation without interruption for the Countdown buff to activate. If interrupted, you will only receive the 50 Bubbles.

Stay close to your teammates when casting to ensure they receive the buff!
  • Libero Blast

    • This is your damage reduction buff. All received damage reduced by 15% and Super Armour increases by 10000%.
  • Orbital Bombing

    • This is one of your sources of burst damage. Adds 100% attack to Cast Cassia after using this skill.
  • Awakened Eternal Light Soul

    • One of the most important mechanics to master as an Awakened Luster is the transition from Eternal Light Soul to Eternal Light Might. This is your "Go Time" signal.
      • The Transformation: Once you reach 50 Bubbles, your standard Eternal Light Soul automatically upgrades into Eternal Light Might.
      • The Massive Power Spike: Instead of the standard 10% boost, Might grants:
        • +20% Physical and Magic Attack (Double the standard buff!)
        • +10% Attack Speed for the entire party.

Skill Plates

Honestly, there are plenty of options to choose from, and it really depends on the kind of gameplay you prefer. You can experiment with any of the setups I’ll suggest.

Lustre’s main skills have a very short damage output interval, which gives you the freedom to explore and adjust your playstyle.

💡
This is a sample of the damage meter on my rotation.

I used the action speed of Flood trick, Laser Piercer, Carnival rush and a damage plate of Hyper Galaxy.

However, I adjust based on what is really neededthis is what I highly recommend in terms of builds.

Optimizing Your Build: Plates & Heraldry

Based on my experience in high-end Nests and Raids, these are the plates I highly recommend.

While you can adjust based on your personal DPS goals, these are the non-negotiables for a full-time support role:

The Support Core (Recommended)

  • Flood Trick (Action Speed)

    • Non-negotiable. You must take Action Speed here. Faster casting means your party-wide buffs come out sooner, reducing the window where your team is unbuffed and keeping your rotation fluid.
  • Eternal Light Soul (Buff Duration)

    • Extending the duration of your Physical/Magic Attack buff is crucial. The longer the buff stays active, the more breathing room you have to generate Bubbles for your next cast, ensuring 100% uptime.
  • Eternal Light Quartz (Buff Duration)

    • Just like with Soul, maximizing the duration of your Elemental Attack and Life Steal buffs is key. This allows you to focus your Bubbles on other skills without constantly rushing to refresh your sustain.
  • Carnival Rush (Action Speed or Damage)

    • This depends entirely on your playstyle.
      • The Damage Plate: Great for raw numbers and seeing those big lines.
      • The Action Speed Plate (My Choice): I personally prefer Action Speed. In the heat of a raid, being able to dump your damage quickly and get back into your support/repositioning flow is often more valuable than a slight damage increase per hit.

The Full-Time DPS Build

Even when stepping into a primary DPS role, the Luster’s strength comes from her speed. You aren't just looking for raw power; you are looking for frame efficiency.

Here is my recommended plate setup for maximizing your personal damage:

  • Flood Trick (Action Speed)

    • Still Mandatory. Even as a pure DPS, you need this for the faster animation. A quicker Flood Trick means you return to your offensive rotation sooner while keeping your self-buffs active.
  • Laser Piercer (Action Speed)

    • Highly Recommended. This skill has a notoriously long cast time and is easily interrupted by boss mechanics. Using the Action Speed plate ensures you land the hit and generate your Bubbles before the boss can knock you out of the animation.
  • Hyper Galaxy (Cooldown or Damage)

    • This is a flex slot based on the content:
      • Cooldown (My Preference): I prefer having my Ultimate available for every stage or burst window. Constant availability often outweighs a single harder hit.
      • Damage: If you are in a coordinated raid with specific "burst windows," the raw damage increase can be massive.
  • Carnival Rush (Action Speed vs. Damage)

    • This is a tactical choice:

      • Action Speed: Gets you through the animation faster so you can move on to your next skill.
      • Damage: Provides a higher damage ceiling and extends your i-frame window. Since the entire animation is an i-frame, a slower cast (Damage plate) actually keeps you invincible for longer.

Pro Tip: If you are still learning boss patterns and need more "safety," the Damage Plate for Carnival Rush is actually better because of that extended invincibility!

💡
You can also buy Barnac Skill Crest using Irene points via Irene NPC. This will increase your overall damage output.

Skill Up Plates

If you are looking to truly push your Luster to the limit, I highly suggest using a Skill Up (+1) Plate for Carnival Rush.

  • The Logic:

    • You might notice on your damage meters that Laser Piercer often takes the #1 spot for a single cast. However, Carnival Rush has two forms (the regular version and the Shoulder Crash instant version).
  • The Result:

    • By applying the +1 skill level to Carnival Rush, you are effectively boosting the damage of both versions throughout your rotation. This provides a much higher increase to your overall total damage than boosting any other single skill.

If you don’t know where to buy a skill up crest you can buy it on f11 (5 community cores).

💡
Rian’s Pro-Tip: Don't just look at what hits the hardest once; look at what you are casting the most.

Boosting Carnival Rush is the most efficient way to raise your DPS ceiling!

Awakened Flood Trick Tutorial

Before we dive into the full rotation, we have to talk about your most important skill: Awakened Flood Trick.

This isn't just an attack; it is your primary buffing engine.

The Support Transformation (The RMB Version)

While the base skill deals damage, as a Luster, you will "always use" the RMB (Right-Click) version. This transforms the skill from a simple strike into a specialized buffing zone.

  • How to Execute:

    1. Initiate: Cast the Flood Trick skill.
    2. Activate: Immediately Press Right-Click (RMB) to trigger the buffing circle.
  • Why this is Essential:

    • The Buffing Circle: Activating the RMB version creates a field that applies your critical party-wide support.
    • The "Support-DPS" Hybrid: By using the RMB version, you ensure your team stays at peak performance without stopping your own offensive momentum.

The "Catch" without Awakened Flood Trick

If you simply cast the skill, only the allies who are physically hit by the animation or are standing directly on the impact point will receive the buff.

In a fast-moving raid, this is unreliable and often misses your backline DPS or your co-healers.

  • The "Circle" Buff (With RMB):
    • By pressing RMB, you create a persistent Buffing Circle. This expands the radius significantly, ensuring that everyone within the zone is fully supported, regardless of where the boss is moving.

Why the RMB Version is Superior

If you don't use the RMB version, you're basically gambling on your teammates' positioning.

By activating the circle, you take control of the support. You ensure the buff reaches the people who need it most, even if they aren't standing right on top of the boss.

The "Current” Eternal Light Buffs Casting

Whether you are using Eternal Light Soul or Eternal Light Quartz, the mechanics in the current version of Luster are incredibly reliable.

  • The "Auto-Enable" Mechanic:

    • In the past, positioning was everything. Now, regardless of exactly where you place the buffing circle, as long as you successfully execute the RMB Awakened Flood Trick, your active Eternal Light buffs will be enabled for the party.
  • Consistency is Key:

    • This applies to both your offensive and defensive pillars:
      • Eternal Light Soul: Your Physical/Magic Attack and Shield.
      • Eternal Light Quartz: Your Elemental Attack and Life Steal.
💡
Rian’s Pro-Tip: Because these buffs enable so reliably now, you can focus on your APM and keeping your i-frames ready.

You no longer have to stop your "dance" to micro-manage your teammates' positions—just keep the Flood Trick rotation going, and the buffs will take care of the rest!

Eternal Light Soul Casting

Eternal Light Quartz Casting

Eternal Light Might Casting

The Awakened Power: Eternal Light Might

In the current version of Luster, your support mechanics become even more streamlined once you hit your peak resource count.

  • The 50-Bubble Transformation:

    • Once you collect 50 Bubbles, your standard Eternal Light Soul automatically upgrades into Eternal Light Might.
  • Auto-Cast Party Buff:

    • Unlike the standard versions, Eternal Light Might does not require the RMB version of Flood Trick to activate.
      • The Effect: It automatically triggers as a party-wide buff (including yourself), granting a massive 20% increase to both Physical and Magical Attack, plus a 10% Attack Speed boost.
💡
Rian’s Pro-Tip: This "Auto-Cast" feature is a game-changer.

It means the moment you hit 50 bubbles—whether through Countdown or your standard rotation—your team instantly feels the power spike.

You can stay focused entirely on your DPS and positioning without worrying about manual activation

Countdown

This is a vital distinction to make! While the Eternal Light buffs have become more forgiving, Countdown remains a high-stakes skill that requires tactical positioning.

If you're halfway across the map when you cast it, your team loses out on that massive 20% Elemental boost!

The "Golden Rule" of Countdown

While your Eternal Light buffs are more flexible in the modern Luster kit, Countdown is the exception. This is where your battlefield awareness truly matters.

  • Proximity is Key:

    • To share the 20% Elemental Attack increase and the additional light strikes, you must be positioned near your allies when you cast the skill.
  • The "Zero Buff" Risk:

    • If you cast Countdown while you are too far away from your teammates, they will not receive the buff. You will still get your 50 Bubbles and your personal damage boost, but your role as a "Top-Tier Support" will be wasted for that rotation.
💡
Rian’s Pro-Tip: Think of Countdown as your "Huddle" skill.

Before you let it rip, take a quick second to dash toward your party. Once you see you’re in range, cast it immediately.

It’s better to lose one second of DPS to reposition than to lose a 20% damage boost for your entire raid team!

Advance Tips

Now that you know the fundamentals, let’s talk about taking the Luster into actual raids.

Playing this class is a high-speed balancing act. As someone who mainlines Machinas, I can tell you that Luster is incredibly rewarding, but also physically demanding. Because of her high APM and the constant need to manage both your personal DPS and your party’s buffs, it’s easy to get tunnel vision.

One missed i-frame or a mistimed Countdown, and you aren’t just losing damage—you’re letting your team’s sustain drop.

Luster doesn’t follow a "one-size-fits-all" rotation. Instead, she relies on a Freestyle Flow that adapts to the boss.

Here are the pro-tips to keep you at the top of your game:

  • Know the Rhythm of the Boss:

    • Before diving into a raid, study the mechanics. Luster thrives on being "in the pocket" of the boss. If you know when a stomp or a swipe is coming, you can use Glowing Nova to i-frame through it without stopping your buff cycle.
  • Be the "Huddle" Leader:

    • Always be mindful of your party's position. Since Countdown requires you to be near your allies to share that 20% Elemental boost, you need to be the one to reposition. Don't wait for them to come to you—dash to the group, cast, and then dive back into the fray.
  • Don't Ghost your Bubbles:

    • Your Bubble management is your lifeline. If you find yourself at zero bubbles, your support utility vanishes. Always prioritize your generators like Pivot Gunshot and Lightning Elevation to ensure your Eternal Light pillars never go dark.
  • Precision over Button-Mashing:

    • Even though your cooldowns are short, "spraying and praying" will tank your DPS. Skills like Carnival Rush and Laser Piercer require precise hits to maximize their value. If you miss the "Instant" window for Carnival Rush after a Shoulder Crash, you're losing a massive chunk of your burst.

Bubble Management

Mastering the Bubble System (Luminance Points)

Managing Luster’s resource system isn't as intimidating as it looks. It all boils down to simple math and your ability to maintain your "Support-DPS" flow. Here is the breakdown you need to memorize:

  • The Cost of Support:

    • Eternal Light Quartz costs only 5 Bubbles. This is your low-cost, high-uptime sustain buff.
  • The Cost of Power:

    • Eternal Light Might costs 50 Bubbles (your entire stack). This is your massive team-wide burst window.
  • The "Cheat Code":

    • Countdown instantly grants you the max 50 Bubbles. Using this correctly allows you to bypass the grind and jump straight into your most powerful buffs.

The Luster’s Goal

As a Luster main, your gameplay loop is simple but demanding:

  • Maintain Uptime:
    • Keep your core buffs active for the team.
  • Aggressive Generation:
    • Use your DPS rotation to constantly acquire bubbles.
  • The Burst Loop:
    • Use Countdown to refill your stacks instantly, ensuring your team never goes a moment without their 20% Physical/Magical/Elemental boost.

Skill Rotation

The Luster’s Flow: Burst & Freestyle Rotation

Unlike pure DPS classes, Luster does not have a "one-way" strict rotation. Because your primary role is to provide buffs and react to your team’s needs, you must be prepared to interrupt your damage to save a teammate or refresh a pillar.

However, to start a fight with maximum impact, you should master this Opening Burst to set the pace for your team.

The Opening Burst (Maximum Team Buffs + Personal DPS)

  • This sequence ensures your team hits their peak damage window immediately:

    1. Countdown (Instantly hit 50 Bubbles & give the 20% Elemental Buff).
    2. Eternal Light Might (Auto-activates your 20% ATK/10% Speed buff).
    3. Mirage (Apply the 10% Defense Reduction debuff).
    4. Hyper Galaxy (Your massive Ultimate burst).
    5. Orbital Bombing (Triggers the 100% boost for Cast Cassia).
    6. Instant Lightning Elevation (Activated via Class Mastery I).
    7. Carnival Rush (Your heavy-hitting punches).
    8. Instant Carnival Rush (Triggered via Shoulder Crash or Class Mastery II).
    9. Laser Piercer (High damage + Bubble generation).
    10. RMB Flood Trick (Establish the support circle).
    11. Eternal Light Quartz (Apply the Elemental/Lifesteal sustain).

The Mid-Fight: Solo & Reactive Gameplay

Once the opening burst is finished, Luster shifts into a high-APM priority system.

  • The DPS Priority

    • After your opener, you can freely spam the following skills in no particular order whenever they are off cooldown:
      • Instant Carnival Rush
      • Instant Lightning Elevation
      • Laser Piercer
      • Carnival Rush
      • Cast Cassia (Especially after Orbital Bombing!)
  • The Maintenance Loop

    • You must constantly weave Eternal Light Quartz and Eternal Light Might into your rotation as soon as your bubbles allow.
  • The Filler

    • Use Pivot Gunshot whenever it's off cooldown. It is your most reliable "filler" skill for keeping your bubble count healthy between your main skill animations.
  • The Support Rule

    • If a teammate is low on health or debuffed, stop your DPS. Use Refresh or Resuscitate immediately. A dead teammate deals zero damage!
💡
Rian’s Final Note on Gameplay

Don't get discouraged if your mid-fight rotation looks different every time. That’s the beauty of the Luster! You are the heartbeat of the party.

After the opener, focus on your high-priority 'spam' skills while keeping an eye on your team.

Watch the sample gameplay I’ve prepared to see how I balance the 'Burst' opener with the 'Reactive' flow of a real raid.

Night Shadow Training Ground Sample Gameplay

In the sample gameplay video, I focus on the two most important aspects of high-level Luster play: i-frame mastery and buff uptime. This is what separates a "DPS Luster" from a "Raid-Ready Luster."

  1. The "Invincible" Dance (i-frames)
  • Luster is a glass cannon if you stand still. In the video, pay close attention to how I use:
    • Glowing Nova (RMB): Weaving this after main skills to dance through boss attacks.
    • Cast Cassia EX: Utilizing the invincibility window during the cast to stay aggressive.
    • Carnival Rush: Using the natural i-frame window of the punches to bypass mechanics while dealing massive damage.
  1. The "Buff Insertion" Method
  • In a real raid, you don't just "set and forget" your buffs. You have to find the "pockets" in your rotation to refresh them. In the NSTG run, notice how I:
    • Insert Eternal Light Might: The moment those 50 bubbles hit, I prioritize the 20% ATK boost.
    • Insert Eternal Light Quartz: Keeping the 10% Elemental and Lifesteal active at the cost of only 5 bubbles.
    • The "Support-First" Mindset: Even in a solo environment like NSTG, I practice as if my team is there. If you can maintain 100% buff uptime while dodging every mechanic solo, you will be a god-tier support in a 4-man or 8-man nest.

Guardian Nest Sample Gameplay

In the gameplay footage provided, you will see the true heart of the Luster in action. She is a unique APM Support—a class that demands high-speed execution and constant awareness.

What to Watch For:

  • Maintaining the High-Action Flow:

    • Notice how the damage never stops. You are constantly chaining skills like Laser Piercer, Carnival Rush, and Lightning Elevation to keep your bubble count healthy.
  • Weaving the Buffs:

    • Watch how Eternal Light Might and Eternal Light Quartz are seamlessly "inserted" into the rotation. There is no pause in the aggression; the buffs are part of the rhythm.

Chaos Duel Nest Extreme Sample Gameplay

In this gameplay, you will see exactly how a Luster operates. It isn't about stopping your attack to buff; it’s about dealing APM damage while providing support.

  • The Synergetic Flow:

    • Notice how the offensive rotation of Carnival Rush and Laser Piercer seamlessly transitions into Eternal Light Might and Quartz.
  • The "Frontline Support" Mentality:

    • You aren't standing in the back—you are in the boss's face, using your i-frames to stay safe while your mere presence (and your bubble management) keeps the entire party at peak performance.
  • The High-Speed Engine:

    • Watch how the 50-bubble generation leads directly into the auto-buffs, ensuring that your team’s damage spikes exactly when yours does.
💡
Rian’s Final Conclusion

Luster is the ultimate class for those who love high-intensity gameplay.

If you can keep your APM high, your bubbles full, and your eyes on the boss, you become the most indispensable member of any raid. Stay fast, stay aggressive, and keep those pillars glowing!

Conclusion

Luster is a class for those who thrive in the chaos of battle. She demands more than just quick fingers; she requires a tactical mind that can balance a high-speed offensive with the constant responsibility of keeping a party at peak performance.

Playing Luster is a high-stakes, high-reward dance where your awareness is just as important as your APM—from timing that perfect Countdown huddle to maintaining the rhythmic flow of your Eternal Light pillars.

If you are looking for a role that combines the intensity of a front-line striker with the critical utility of a top-tier support, Luster is your calling. She can be mentally demanding and physically taxing during long raids, but the satisfaction of seeing your team hit those massive burst windows because of your perfect buff uptime is unmatched. With enough practice, you’ll find that the "Combat Support" lifestyle isn't just a role—it’s a mastery of the battlefield.

So, gear up, keep your bubbles flowing, and lead your team to victory. Welcome to the Luster life.
