Patch 6.6 - Gatekeeper Managarm

Merry Christmas! It's unusual we have a patch on Christmas day itself, but we figured we'd give our little gift of the long awaited content update so you can start working toward your new equipment and upgrades.

As stated on our Discord Server, Rune Dragon Nest will be releasing in several parts.

Rune Dragon Nest - Ferocious Gatekeeper

We're introducing the first stage of Rune Dragon Nest. More stages will be released after the holidays.
In total there will be four different stages and equipment progression will differ for each one.
However, each stage release will require progression from the previous stage due to increasing CR requirements.

A tyrannical Child, Mamon’s castle is the epitome of hell for all who enters. Her crazed and loyal subjects make this a merciless battlefield to trudge through, but persevere on, brave Heroes, because once Mamon becomes the Rune Dragon, there will be no stopping her!

Stage Entry

You can enter Rune Dragon Nest - Ferocious Gatekeeper in Garden of Eternity (Party), go south and there you'll find the portal.

Portal Location Milla Laurel -> (Party) Garden of Eternity -> Rune Dragon Nest
Difficulty Labyrinth 19
Party Size 5-8 Players
Combat Readiness Requirement 775+
Revivals None
Loot/Week 2/Week

Weekly Loot

Upon clearing Rune Dragon - Ferocious Gatekeeper, you'll receive the following fixed loot:

Item Name Quantity
Manargarm's Chain x4
Manargarm's Leather x3
Manargarm's Fang x1

Item Crafting - Blacksmith

By speaking to the Blacksmith in Milla Laurel, you will be able to use your weekly loot to crafting new types of items.

There are also new upgrade hammers to convert your existing +15 L equipment piece.

The Dragon Jades can be sealed and traded between other players/alt chars.

Dragon Jades also have a new type of RNG rolling. Instead of rolling for min-max stats, you'll now roll to aim for a specific Main Stat.

The new equipment and Dragon Jades are not class archetype locked, but instead, are offered in two different flavours: Unyielding and Berserker.

New Type: Unyielding & Berserker

With the introduction of Rune Dragon Nest, we are moving away from class-locked archetype equipment. You will no longer be forced to use a specific set of gear based on your selected class. Instead, RuDN equipment will allow you to choose between two new prefixes: Unyielding or Beserker.

Here's a comparison example between both types of Boots.

You will be able to freely mix-and-match your equipment using either prefix. For example, you can wear a full set of Unyielding Armor, a full set of Beserker Accessories, x4 Beserker Jades, and x9 Unyielding Jades.

As usual, RuDN Armour and Accessories are not freely transferable between characters via trading or server storage.

Please take note that RuDN Dragon Jades can be Infinity Seal Stamped to transfer between characters via trading or server storage.

We will not reimburse incorrect choices of equipment prefixes.
Boots Dragon Jades have Potential, meaning there will be RNG involved in the main stat bonus.
You'll receive one of these following stats upon crafting the Boots Jade.

Crests have the usual min-max roll. The Max CR is now listed in the item description as well.

General

Affecting All Players

All characters have been converted to level 99 internally.

This allows us greater flexibility of providing future content, without having to "port" content to be compatible with level 90.
We're also able to use different types of equipment which were previously impossible (such as part-specific Dragon Jades)

All new characters also start at level 99.

This is purely a visual change and shouldn't affect anything, however if you notice some abnormalities, please let us know with a bug report on Discord.
