This patch features two new playable jobs based on the Archer and Cleric base classes.

Moreover, we've revamped basically how the entire server progression works. Our hopes are making gearing more streamlined and easy to comprehend what you should be doing next.

Frozen TKN also arrives this patch for end-game players to challenge and obtain new Talisman and Runes.

New Playable Classes

The long awaited custom jobs: Arctic Ranger and Searing Knight are now available!

You can use a Class Change scroll to switch over to the desired spec, or if you've already created a new Archer or Cleric, simply utilise the Class Specialist NPC in Milla Laurel to complete your advancements.

Arctic Ranger

As Archer travels further north, she picks up new skills from the northern tribe, adding ice magic to her repertoire.
She eventually learns how to use healing magic to protect herself on the journey because of how difficult the terrain is there.

She is going to be an essential component in her party now that she has returned to Altera and added her support kits to her arsenal.

Arctic Ranger is a custom made Ice Healer. Not only does she have potent support abilities in her arsenal, she also can bring some serious damage when she empowers herself.

Arctic Ranger is not tailored for leveling progression, nor is she tailored for PvP.

We highly suggest to begin playing her at Level 90 as her skills are designed to be played at that level.

Searing Knight

The Squire packs some powerful punches that can be devastating to enemies. With the new teaching at Cleric Academy, he distinguishes himself from other Clerics by bringing Fire-embued Spells to the table.

After several years of academy training, Squire has vowed to protect his teammates. Searing Knight brings even more support utilities, as well as more dangerous Fire spells.

And with his powerful offensive buffs to the party, he will surely prove his worth.

Frozen Typhoon Kim Nest

Introduction

With this patch, we are introducing Frozen Typhoon Kim! This is our first major content since we've removed "Trinity" mechanics, therefore you won't find a single one in there! Bring whatever composition you like!

He's big, he's blue, he's mean, and his rage is true! Please welcome back our beloved champion of Orcs, Typhoon Kim!

Typhoon Kim is back in all of his glory, but just because he's "frozen" doesn't mean he's not as hot-blooded as ever! Challenging him will provide you with new Unique Talismans, the item to re-roll them, the item to "evolve" them into Legendary talismans, as well as the items to create and enhance Legendary Runes! We hope you enjoy this nest, as it will be one of our last releases of the year. As per usual, if you have any suggestions, please leave your constructive criticism in our suggestions channel in our Discord.

Frozen TKN comes in two version. A Solo/Duo version where you can, as the name implies, solo or duo it. The other version is a Party version, where you will need four members to even enter.

Please note that mechanics do not differ between versions, only HP and drop quantities are different. Solo/Duo gives less, and Party gives more. These instances do not share a clear count.

Progression & Difficulty Overhaul

Foreword

We are redesigning our gearing process in this patch in hopes of making gearing more streamlined and easy to comprehend what you should be doing next.

In addition, changes were made on instance difficulty scaling, to accommodate the progression overhaul.

  • In Dungeons, both monster ATK and HP scaling has been nerfed for every instance.
  • In Nests & Raids, monster HP scaling has been nerfed for every instance.

Boss Unblockable Attacks

Certain bosses now have a visual indicator for Unblockable Attacks.
All attacks which cannot be blocked or parried will be now indicated by a red outline around the boss.

This currently only applies to Frozen Typhoon Kim Nest, Executioner's Arena, Death God's Domain, Blade of The East and Black Blade Vaseraga.

Older contents will be retroactively updated over time to follow this new indicator rule.

Death God's Domain

Following the Progression and Difficulty Overhaul, we are changing several aspects of Death God's Domain.

  • Maximum player entry has been increased from 1 > 2.
  • Potion usage is disabled while inside the instance.
  • Boss stats have been increased to accommodate the maximum player entry.
  • Maximum entry count has been reduced from 5 > 1 per week.
  • Labyrinth 18 has been enabled for the instance.
  • CR requirements have been removed from the instance.

Trial of The Forgotten

Following the Progression and Difficulty Overhaul, we are also changing several aspects in Trial of The Forgotten.

  • Titan Nest drops has been moved to this instance since it's been removed.
  • The instance is now locked to Lab 7.
  • Drops per boss for is now the same as the previous Lab 10 drops.
  • Resurrection limit has been increased from 3 > 5.
  • Cerberus' Lightning Storm now indicates its safe zone.
  • Cerberus' Lightning Storm now no longer goes through iframes.
  • Manticore's Aerial Stomp now has a telegraph.
  • Manticore's Aerial Stomp now no longer breaks iframe or blocks.
  • Apocalypse's Rotating Laser frequency has been reduced significantly.

Fission Maze

Following the Progression and Difficulty Overhaul, we are also changing several aspects in Fission Maze.

  • Minimum Lab has been increased to 6 due to the Labyrinth Scaling rework.
  • Fission Maze Coin Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 scaling per lab has been adjusted.
  • Tier 1 Coin now drops in Lab 6 to 10.
  • Tier 1 Coin drops has been increased in Lab 6 to 10.
  • Tier 2 Coin now drops in Lab 11 to 14.
  • Tier 2 Coin drops has been increased for other bosses, and slightly reduced for Sea Dragon stage.
  • Tier 3 Coin now drops in Lab 15 and 16.
  • Tier 3 Coin drops has been increased for other bosses, and slightly reduced for Sea Dragon stage.
  • Tier 4 Coin is now introduced starting in Lab 17.
  • Resurrection limit has been increased from 1 > 3.

Titan Nest

Following the Progression and Difficulty Overhaul, we decided to removed Titan Nest as a whole.

To accommodate the removal of Titan Nest, we've moved Titan Nest drops into Trial of The Forgotten.


Forest Dragon Nest

Following the Progression and Difficulty Overhaul, we are also changing some aspects in Forest Dragon Nest.

  • Coffers obtained from the instance now allow you to select various books.
  • The option to redeem armour has been removed from the coffer.

Executioner's Arena

Following the Progression and Difficulty Overhaul, we are also changing some aspects in Executioner's Arena.

Daily and Weekly Tasks

We've added new Daily Tasks for Chiron Dungeons in this update! Upon clearing the tasks, you will get CC fragments.

We are wiping CC and reworking CC as a whole sometime this month, stay tuned!

Upon clearing all the daily tasks, you can now earn 1,000 Infinity Cash every day!

Weekly Tasks have been reduced for thie update. We'll be expanding the amount of weekly tasks in the near future!

The expanding amount of weekly tasks was supposed to be for this patch, but we shifted our focus to reworking the whole gear progression instead.

Known Issues

We are aware of the following issues.

  • Boss BGMs in dungeons are not playing correctly. They repeat the same dungeon stage loop.
  • Several stage entry portals lists incorrect item drops, either as official ones or outdated ones. Frozen TKN is not affected by this. This issue will be addressed in the upcoming mini update.
  • Searing Knight and Arctic Ranger have incorrect blank/images on the Class Change Ticket item. You can still click the empty space.

  • Reworked boss and end chest drops logic. Upon boss death you shall receive (Guild Honour Coins), and within the selection chests you shall receive the respective (Diana Stones).

Gladiator

  • Damage increased for (Hacking Stance) and (Phantom Slash).

Saleana

  • Shortened the animation of (Flame Volcano).
