With this update, we are laying the groundwork for the next content and feature update. Maintenance this weekend lasted much longer than usual as a result.

Also, expect a complete leaderboard wipe in the next update, mainly due to the removal of Trinity mechanics from most content as well as streamlining of boss stats.

Newbie 2.0 Gear

With this patch, we created a brand new set that replaces the existing 1.0 Newbie gear, with improved stats and the ability to attach Dragon Jades to them.

We understand that we're pulling an ED move by revamping something so soon after it was released, but we believe it's necessary for players to have better access to our server content in the foreseeable future.

The new 2.0 Booster Sets are available for purchase from David in Milla Laurel. The rarity is also Epic Grade, so it stands out from the old gear.

Playable Content

  • Reverted the monster scaling logic for beginner dungeons which was applied a few updates ago.
  • More Labyrinth floors for STG has been added.
  • Forest Dragon Nest entry requirement has been reduced from 8 > 5 and resurrection limit has been increased from 0 > 1.
  • Hirendel and Aux now deal less damage.
  • Hirendel final DPS check forced dmg removed.
  • Removed proximity marker mechanics from Forest Dragon Nest.
  • Vaseraga now deals less damage and has lower health.
  • Plague Master Vinsen G no longer as agile.
  • Balkov/Brin/Muertos bosses now deal less damage. Forced damage mechanics have been removed from Balkov/Brin/Granom (please let us know if we forgot any)
  • ABN/Manti/PKN have had their damage scaling and HP scaling reworked for the upcoming Fission Maze patch. This will make them hit harder and have more HP, but the new 2.0 Booster Gear will handle your beginner tasks just fine still. Please note that we cannot separate Fission Maze balancing from nests it is shared with such as ABN/Manti/PKN.
  • Muertos Nest and Brindhild Nest can now be entered alone.
  • All Granom Nest boss random aggro has either been removed for certain bosses or heavily reduced for others.
Several old nests have had their damage reduced and "trinity" mechanics removed. Trinity mechanics refer to tank busters requring a tank, and forced damage mechanics requiring a healer. The goal with this is to create a consistent experience, and make nests gradually challenge you more as a new player, instead of just immediately destroying you from the start.

Enhancement System

  • L Jade enchant rates increased, mats requirements decreased.
  • FDN Armour enchant rates increased, mats requirements decreased.
  • Cursed End of Dreams Weapons mat requirements decreased for +1 to +5.
