Stat Squishing

Number Reductions

Starting with this patch, we've squished the numbers for character stats in order to combat future power creeps and insane stat inflation introduced in Patch 5.0.

This squish has an effect on all playable characters, equipment, items, and so on.
We haven't touched I.C item stats or their set bonuses. Additionally, percentage increase (e.g phys damage %), Final Damage, and Critical stats have not been altered.
Monster stats have also been rebalanced to accommodate this change.

Our goal is for players to have the same "impact" on boss health during gameplay, but the numbers displayed will be lower visually.

Of course, do not expect everything to be perfect in our first iteration, we encourage players to thoroughly test their classes and provide feedback on Discord.

Adventurer's Bounty

Starting this update, "Side Content" has been renamed to "Adventurer's Bounty" to better suit Osiris along with upcoming bosses. Welcome to the first iteration of the Bounty Shop.

A new Deckard NPC has been added to Saint Haven by the Trading House area.
Clearing Osiris also grants specific "Bounty Points" drops, on top of the usual Gold Vouchers.

By speaking to Deckard in Saint Haven, you can exchange your Bounty Points for some sweet goodies, including exclusive Hat cosmetics and custom titles.

The amount of Bounty Points as well as their rarity dropped depends on the Labyrinth difficulty on which Osiris is defeated on. LB1 is like a walk in the park, while LB8 requires coordination, a proper composition, and well geared characters.

General

UI/UX

  • The UI no longer closes when successfully extracting an item at the Dissembler.

Misc.

  • You can now instantly remove Heraldries by holding Left Shift and then right-clicking the equipped heraldry.
  • You can now place Gold Voucher items into the Server Storage.
  • Client security improvements.
  • According to the Discord server announcement, all remaining CC have been wiped from all accounts, and the amount of CC obtained from tickets, as well as the price of CC items, have been reduced.

This patch completes the Lencea class's PVP adjustments, making it fully playable in PVP! Please check out the cooldown and damage changes in-game. The next class we intend to work on is Academic.

[Injury]

  • The skill is now an active skill (the skill can now be placed on a quick slot). The space bar input on Tumble has been removed.
  • The skill has been changed to its original version (now hits enemies and travels less far).
  • Super Armor has been changed from 300 to 200.

[Injury Combo]

  • Hitbox duration has been changed from 17 frames to 10 frames.
  • Super Armor has been changed from inheriting the previous action's SA to 200.

[Repression]

  • Super Armor has been changed from 600 to 200.

[Flow Down]

  • The skill can now be used during every action, including hit states.
  • The skill has been changed to its original version.
  • Hornet's Touch/Repression is now usable during the action.

[Obscurity Mark]

  • Animation has been changed to its original version.
  • The Damage Dealt buff amount has been changed from +30% to +20%.

[Thorns]

  • Bubble duration has been changed from 100 seconds to 120 seconds.

[Dissembler]

  • The "Thorn" variant of the skill has been changed to its original version.
  • Super Armor break has been changed from (100)*2 + (200)*2 to 100 + (200)*3.
  • Thorn bubble requirement to summon thorns has been changed from 40 to 20.

[Grudge]

  • Super Armor has been changed from 600 to 400.
  • Thorn bubble requirement to summon thorns has been changed from 20 to 30.

[Infection]

  • The animation of the "Thorn" variant no longer abruptly ends.
  • Two additional hits have been added to the "Thorn" variant".
  • Super Armor has been changed from 700 to 600.
  • Super Armor break has been changed from 800 to 400.
  • Super Armor break of the "Thorn" variant has been changed from 800 to 600 + 200 + 400.
  • Thorn bubble requirement to summon thorns has been changed from 30 to 40.

[Vena Plaga Transformation]

  • Super Armor has been changed from 600 to 400.
  • Buff duration has been changed from 600 seconds to 20 seconds.

[(Corrupt) Fatalism]

  • The skill has been changed to its original version (attacks are no longer automatic, an additional attack has been added, the final attack no longer shoots blades).
  • The final attack can now be triggered during the first two attacks with the right mouse button.
  • Super Armor break has been changed from (150)*2 + 100 + 200 to (300)*2 + 100 + 200.

[(Corrupt) Thorn of Reproof]

  • Super Armor has been changed from 600 to 400.

[(Corrupt) Blood Shot]

  • The animation has been changed to its original version.
  • Super Armor has been changed from 600 to 400.
  • Super Armor break has been changed from 600 + (100)*2 to 400 + (100)*2.

[(Corrupt) Subconscious]

  • The skill has been changed to its original version.
  • A slight camera resistance has been added.

[Lonely Cloud]

  • Super Armor has been changed from 800 to 600.

[(Corrupt) Lonely Cloud]

  • The skill has been changed to its original version.
  • The hits no longer wall-bounce enemies (except for the last hit).
  • Hitbox duration of the last hit has been changed from 16 frames to 10 frames.
  • Super Armor has been changed from 800 to 600.

[Manic]

  • The skill has been changed to its original version.
  • The skill now cancels itself if you fail to land the first hit, granting you back 30 [Thorn] bubbles.
  • The [Thorns] bubble requirement to be able to use the skill has been removed. Instead, the skill becomes enhanced based on how many [Thorns] bubbles you possess (30 Thorns for enhancement level 1, 60 Thorns for enhancement level 2).
  • You can now press the right mouse button during Repression's (Hornet's Touch) parrying/counter action or after Flow Down to instantly cast Manic.
  • Super Armor has been changed from 1600 to 800.
  • Super Armor now changes to 400 if the skill cancels itself.

[All custom/awakening and passive skills]

  • The skill has been disabled in PVP.

Mercenary

We have been listening to our player's feedback about the Barbarian class and decided to buff him to make his skills more reliable, and to give him an increase in damage output. Please note that Barbarian now also has higher HP than average. Some of these changes will benefit Destroyer, too.

[Taunting Howl]

  • The skill no longer decreases enemy Damage Dealt. Instead, it now increases enemy Damage Taken by 10% for 10 seconds.

[Enervating Howl]

We know that Enervating Howl's silence doesn't work properly at the moment. This is due to an issue where the skill will only silence skills with MP consumption higher than 0. We have manually increased every Warrior skill's MP consumption to 1, making it possible for those skills to be silenced. In future updates, we will do this for every other class as well.

[Stomp]

  • Damage has been changed from 3,999 to 4,000.

[Demolition Fist]

  • Super Armor has been changed from 520 to 600.

[Circle Swing]

  • Super Armor has been changed from 520 to 600.

[Whirlwind]

  • Damage has been changed from 666 per hit to 670 per hit.

Barbarian

[Bone Cleaver]

  • Bonus damage has been changed from 250 per hit to 300 per hit.

[Stomp EX]

  • The second hit's hitbox shape has been changed from a donut to a full circle (enemies in the middle can now be hit).
  • Damage has been changed from 3,999 + 1,200 to 4,000 + 2,000 (now 150% damage of Stomp instead of 130%).

[Demolition Fist EX]

  • The additional attack has been changed to its original version (now a slam instead of an uppercut).
  • The input for the additional attack has been delayed by 2 frames to address an issue where the first hit would miss when holding the left mouse button.
  • Super Armor has been changed from 520 to 600.
  • Super Armor no longer changes to 200 upon performing the additional attack.

[Circle Swing EX]

  • Hitbox duration has been changed from 13 frames to 10 frames.
  • Range has been increased (same range as the T4 version).
  • Range of the additional attack has been decreased (same range as the T4 version).
  • Damage of the additional attack has been changed from 2,400 to 4,000 (now 150% damage of Circle Swing instead of 130%).

[Whirlwind EX]

  • Skill usability has been delayed by 7 frames.
  • Range has been slightly decreased.
  • Super Armor break has been changed from 37 per hit to 40 per hit.
  • Damage has been changed from 819 per hit to 820 per hit.

Resolved Issues

The following issues have been addressed:

PVE

  • An issue where Flash Stance is dealing significantly less damage than intended.
  • An issue where Glacial Freeze Debuff icon and duration not showing properly.
  • An issue where Bleed Phantom's Enhanced Blood Sign (A) and (B) effect doesn't work.
  • An issue with projectile-based Ultimates wherein changing actions (such as walking or tumbling) while trying to accumulate Hero Skill Gauge would fail to build the Hero Gauge.
  • An issue with the Raccoon summon on Assassin wherein the buff was not being properly refreshed and only activated once per summon.

PVP

  • An issue where Momentary Phantasm EX's right mouse button attack has a small delay at the beginning.
  • An issue where Thorn of Reproof's projectile doesn't hit enemies when it makes impact with a wall.
